His sire is Maxim van Meldert who stood out as a young stallion and has a lot of color flowing through his veins in addition to his own black color.
After Stan, Scott is the second approved son out of the mare Saar van den Egelenberg who manifests herself as a broodmare in this way. Saar became champion in Ath as a young mare and achieved first place at the official contest. Her dam Micha van 't Hof ter Waele was a particularly successful contest mare who won several first places at the National Contest.
Scott himself became champion as a yearling in Oudenaarde, Deinze and Waasmunster. He is a big-framed stallion with lots of luxury, a masculine appearance, hard legs and immense gaits in trot with lots of drive from the hindquarters.
