Reigning Dutch champion
Bert van
Turkeyen
It was a hard-fought battle last summer where Bert van Turkeyen was crowned Dutch champion. He slowly but surely made his way to the top in the Netherlands. Now he returns, stronger and better than ever, as evidenced by his national title.

As a two-year-old, Bert van Turkeyen was first approved with us. He left for Zeeland and slowly but surely made his way to the top. At the stallion selection show in Lunteren in 2022, he was third in the championship and in 2023 he was ranked one step higher as vice champion.
Then in the summer followed the National Exhibition: the championship became a hard-fought battle, but Bert managed to convince again and was crowned Dutch Champion 2023, the best of the best.
Bert also has the best of the best flowing in his veins: Gamin van de Lindehoef x Matteo van 't Rietenhof is a proven combination that brings size, breed characteristics and nobility. His dam Eva van Turkeyen is a top mare with surplus that goes back in damline via Charlotte van Luchteren (series winner National Contest) to Leentje van de Polderdijk.
Bert further possesses hard legs, good feet and extremely smooth movements.
With his former owner, Bert gave birth to some remarkably modern and well-moving foals that are nicely built in proportion. A highlight may certainly be called the filly Celia van Roosjeshof. She managed to beat her two year older competitors at the Autumn Inspection in Heinkenszand at the end of 2023 and was declared General Youth Champion.
